This allows for onsite hydrogen production without the need to ship or transport hydrogen.A mini hydrogen production facility, enough to supply a 15 or 20 hydrogen gas pumps could be built 200 yards from the gas pumps for safety.

Despite the challenges, there are signs that hydrogen fuel cell vehicles could be gaining momentum.
